Create a Matrix Reloaded Hollywood Flick Based Design with PS

In this Photoshop tutorial you will learn how to quickly fake a Matrix effect in your photos, why am I showing you this you say?
because I love the matrix. And for all the other Matrix lovers out there that don’t know much about Photoshop, this will be a fun tutorial and trick to use on your own photos. I’ve tested it out many times and it works like a charm, so now I’ll show you.

Step 1

Go to Image > Adjustments > Black & White (or press Alt, Shift, Ctrl, B for windows and Alt, Shift, Command B for Macs)

Step 2

Go to Filter > Texture > Craquelure and mirror the image below

Step 3

Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise

Step 4

This is where the Matrix effect starts to show more, go to Filter > Texture > Grain.
Grain Settings:
Intensity: 55
Contrast: 55
Grain Type: Vertical

Step 5

Go to Spatter > Brush Strokes > Spatter

Step 6

Go to Image > Adjustments > Invert (or Ctrl+i)

Step 7
Go to Image > Adjustments > Variations, click on More Green once, then OK

To take it a step further Invert it again

Step 8

Now, go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation, check Colorize and do the following:
Hue: 115
Saturation: 40
Lightness: 0

Step 9

Duplicate Image > Filter > Noise > Median, set the Radius to 10 pixels

And finally, down the opacity to the current layer to 25%, right click on the layer and select Flatten Image.

Final Result
