Step 1

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 600×500 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with black color. Then make a new layer set and call it 'TV Design'. Now create a new layer then draw a large dark rectangle with #3C3C3C color shade and 395×250 px dimensions.

Step 2

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Satin and Gradient Overlay blending options to your dark rectangle layer.

Step 3

Now crop an image with a 350×212 px dimensions for the screen. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow and Inner Glow blending options.

Step 4

In a new layer draw a gray rectangle with #828282 color shade and 395×11 px dimensions below the rectangle design.

Step 5

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Glow and Satin blending options to the long gray rectangle layer.

Step 6

In a new layer draw a dark rounded rectangle with #2B2B2B color shade and 395×29 px dimensions below the long rectangle design layer.

Step 7

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to the rounded rectangle layer.

Step 8

Select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Arial, regular, 7 pt, strong and white color shade. In a new text layer type "SONY" on the light gray rectangle design. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow blending option.

Step 9

In a new text layer type your name on the top left side of the design.

Step 10

On your Layer Window highlight the 'TV Design' layer set then go to Layer > Merge Layer Set, this should turn the layer set into a regular layer.

Step 11

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow blending option to your TV design layer.

Step 12

Create a new layer then draw a white ellipse with 225 x 16 px dimensions.

Step 13

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin and Gradient Overlay blending options to your white ellipse layer. Then set the layer's blending mode to Darken.

Step 14

Create a new layer, using your Rounded Rectangle Tool draw a small white rounded rectangle with 35 x 22 px dimensions. Then cut the bottom corners of the white rounded rectangle and position it on top of the ellipse design as shown below.

Step 15

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin and Gradient Overlay blending options to your small white rounded rectangle layer. Then set the layer's blending mode to Darken.
