Kineticity in Arts.Various Inspirations of Kinetic Arts

Iv always been a huge fan of kinetic sculptures, they are so eye catching and a great way to capture any moment in creative or lifelike ways. There are a huge variation of kinetic sculptures about the internet, but these are just a few that I have picked out!

Hovering balls – kinetic sculpture

Old School Car
Designer and creative artist Joachim Sauter made a truly inspiring and amazing artwork for the BMW museum. The artwork consists of 714 metal spheres the can move vertically through small steel wires that are controlled by motors. By adjusting the spheres creative artwork is visualized and Joachim Sauter wanted to display the process of form finding. The animation is seven minutes long starting chaotically and then evolving into finished projects. The artwork can be visited at the BMW museum in Munich.

Blue Leaf Cube

Bird, paper and the rat.
At first glance these objects look like they are in motion, almost like every object is falling down, especially the “strawberry blanket”. In reality they are actually natural materials, like feathers, fruits and flowers, attached to nylon threads. Sculptor Claire Morgan from Belfast is the creator of this magnificent art work. She has among other things achieved a first class degree in Sculpture from Northumbria University.
